Central Ohio artist Megen Leigh makes her debut at Kittie’s Highline Art Space in Worthington with her exhibit, “Whimsical Worlds,” showing March 16 – April 30, 2026.

Inspired by curiosity and creativity, Leigh’s artwork encourages viewers to step into colorful scenes filled with bold hues, unexpected creatures, and imaginative landscapes. Fantastical creatures often appear organically, emerging from playful environments and dreamlike landscapes. Simple elements can evoke complex themes, and many pieces contain small details and subtle hints of narratives waiting to be discovered. The closer viewers look, the more stories begin to unfold.

“Anything and everything can spark inspiration for me,” Leigh explains. “I strive to bring a little bit of whimsical, playful, magical energy into the world with every piece I create. I love using bright colors and imaginative scenes that evoke a fairytale-like sense of wonder.”

The owners of Kittie’s, Steve and Diane Herman, said, “It’s fun to see what stories you can find in Megen’s work!” They are excited for their patrons to see Leigh’s artwork in their newly expanded Worthington location.
