Central Ohio artist D. Lynn McCarthy is making her debut at Kittie's Highline Art Space inside Kittie's Cakes in Worthington, Ohio. Showing May 1st – June 30, 2026. 
 

McCarthy is presenting a vibrant collection of contemporary works showcasing her signature blend of realism and abstraction. Drawing inspiration from nature, science, and human experience, her artwork explores the dynamic interplay of color, form, and texture. Her pieces invite viewers into layered visual environments where abstraction and realism coexist, encouraging personal interpretation and emotional connection. Through bold compositions and intricate details, each work reflects a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of the world around us.

“Exploration is at the heart of everything I create,” McCarthy explains. “I’m inspired by the relationships between color and structure. My goal is to create work that draws people in.”
 

McCarthy's portfolio spans large-scale paintings, immersive murals, and custom design projects, all unified by an intuitive and expressive approach. Through her company, D. Lynn Art and Design, she is committed to making art accessible and engaging, offering original works, prints, and design services for both individual collectors and commercial clients.
