Hello! I'm Rebecca of Rebecca Ink. I became the curator of the Kittie's Highline Art Space in January of 2021. It is an absolute joy to meet new artists and display their work. I am learning so much behind the scenes about their processes. My mission is to bring art to every home and every person.

Highline Coffee sold to Steve and Diane Herman of Kittie's Cakes in January 2023. They are proud to add a third location in Worthington. Come in for a fresh cup of Oneline coffee, and grab a hand-crafted pastry - delivered to the store daily!
Although the owners have changed, the Art Space remains the same intimate art gallery located inside Kittie's Highline. Showcasing the work of artists who live in central Ohio, the Art Space endeavors to support local artists while offering a welcoming and enriching environment. Come visit and enjoy the art!

Rebecca Burdock
Central Ohio artist Rebecca Burdock returns to Kittie’s Highline Art Space in Worthington with her new exhibit, “Daily Creating,” showing November 2–December 31, 2023.
What began as a simple online experiment a few years ago quickly became a daily practice for Burdock, the owner of Rebecca Ink., LLC. She carves out studio time each day to make art from an online prompt, with the expectation of building a collection of 100 pieces. Using watercolor and ink, Burdock creates animal-centric artwork that’s whimsical and humorous.
“This is my third year participating in this experiment,” Burdock explains. “My original goal was to learn watercolor. Now that I understand the medium, I focus more on telling a story with my illustrations. I call this my fun art; it is light-hearted and hopeful. I try to be clever with my interpretations of the prompts, creating unexpected images that make people smile.”
Burdock’s artwork can be discovered throughout central Ohio in several locations. This year she has spent a significant amount of time speaking in schools where she has shared her experience illustrating her first children’s book, Sunny the Firefly. To date she has taught close to 1,000 children how to draw Sunny.
The owners of Kittie’s Highline, Steve and Diane Herman, said, “We have gotten to know Rebecca this past year as the curator of the Art Space and we are so excited to see her show. From what we have seen from her pieces in the Curator’s Corner, we know it will spark lively conversations. What could be better than delicious coffee, freshly made pastries, and art?” The Hermans also own two other Kittie’s Cakes locations in central Ohio.
